Brooklyn-based Iranian street art duo, Icy and Sot have a few pieces around Amsterdam, where they have been the focus of a couple of very successful shows: one at Klerkx International Art Management (KIAM) in 2011 and another at the ABC Treehouse in 2014.
This piece revisits familiar themes of protest and Iran, while centering the perspective of women. It is found outside the ABC Treehouse, on Voetboogstraat in the centre of town.
